The Christian Legal Aid Office (CLAO) exists to advise and help the poor and needy of Orange County and defends their rights when they cannot afford legal representation.
The population of homeless adults and children, in Orange County is far higher than most people realize. Add to that, thousands more who simply cannot afford legal assistance because of extreme circumstances in their lives, and you begin to understand the need that can be served by the Christian Legal Aid Office.
Death, divorce, sickness, or extended unemployment can create dire circumstances for any of us. When legal problems add to these woes, the poor and needy frequently lose important rights as well. If you or someone you know are facing a legal crisis and cannot afford legal representation, the Christian Legal Aid Office may be able to help.
Our clients do not have to be a Christian. However, all employees and volunteers with the CLAO are practicing Christians who use their legal skills as a ministry to serve others, and to serve the Lord.
